Ellen "Pat" Stephenson, 90, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Nov. 8, 1930, in Staunton and was a daughter of the late Bedford Samuel Curry and Gatha Clara Rhea Curry.
Ellen worked as a bookkeeper for Tastee Freez and was a member of the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church.
On Sept. 13, 1947, Ellen married William Emmett "Bill" Stephenson, who died on Oct. 8, 2020.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Kay Linaburg of Luray; a brother, B.T."Tommy" Curry of Front Royal; one granddaughter, Stacy Mason and husband Michael of Luray; two great-grandchildren, Avery Mason and Michaela Mason, both of Luray; and a special caregiver, Dakota "Toyota" Dean. She was preceded in death by a son, William Emmett Stephenson Jr.; two brothers, Ernest Samuel Curry Sr. and Ray Leon Curry; and a sister, Lucille Agatha Smith.
A private service will be conducted at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal by Pastor Brian Hasse.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory
