Eleanor Theresa (Munz) Fisher

Eleanor Theresa Fisher, 84, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. 
She was born on Sept. 18, 1937, in Newark, N.J., and was a daughter of the late Otto Munz and Helen Heller Munz. 
Eleanor moved from Myrtle Beach, S.C., to Page County in 2019 and was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Luray. 
On Dec. 26, 1959, she married Robert William Fisher, who survives. 
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Bill Fisher and wife Rhonda of Luray; two granddaughters, Nicole Fisher of Luray, and Melissa Fisher of Baltimore, Md.; and one great-grandson, Nazario Fisher of Luray. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Anne Fisher.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church by Pastor Edwin Perez. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Manor House at the Mimslyn in Luray. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions can be made to Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Eleanor's memory..
