Eldon L. "Lynwood" Miller, 93, of Luray, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on January 21, 1930, in Luray and was a son of the late Philip Wilson Miller and Vilottie Mae Sours Miller.
Lynwood worked as a supervisor for the Luray Textile until its closing. He then worked in the maintenance department at Blue Bell (now Wrangler), retiring in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean War, and was a member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church in Luray.
On October 20, 1961, he married Margaret Maureen Williams Miller, who died on February 24, 2023.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Lowry of Stanley; a sister, Norma O'Dell Stoneberger of Luray; five granddaughters, Kelsey, Melissa, Christina, Tiffany and Megan; and one great-granddaughter, Remi. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Allen Miller; a brother, Junior Ray Miller; and a sister, Hilda Rothgeb.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 29, at Morning Star by Pastor Jeffrey D. Marble.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
