Earl "Slick" Cecil Bundy

Earl Cecil “Slick” Bundy, 89, of Luray, passed away on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021, at Page Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1932, in Luray and was a son of the late Edward William Bundy and Maude Virginia Johnson Bundy.

Mr. Bundy was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He worked for the U.S. Army for 31 years as a food service tech and was a member of the St. John Baptist Church (Salem).

He is survived by a son, Earl Cecil Bundy Jr. of Luray; a sister, Deloris Estelle Trammel of Luray; his companion, Rosa Lee Bundy of Luray; four grandchildren, Meredith Bundy, Joseph Bundy, Kyesha Johnson and Keri Claudia; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Bundy; three brothers, Floyd, William F. and Harry Edward Bundy; and a sister, Norma Gene Burrill.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor John Ruffner.
