Earl Brunson Obituary

Earl C. Brunson, 96, of Luray, died on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1923, in South Carolina and was a son of the late William L. Brunson and Viola Corbet Brunson.

Mr. Brunson was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He worked as a budget analyst for the Federal Government.

On Feb. 6, 1954, he married Stella Marie Burkhardt Brunson, who died on April 26, 2015.

He is survived by a son, Earl Brunson of Luray; and a daughter, Janet Marie Brunson of New Market. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Brunson; and three sisters, Ruth, Evelyn and Elizabeth.

A private graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 13, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by the Rev. Erich Bennett.
