Douglas Laten Cubbage, 82, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on July 7, 1942, in Stanley and was a son of the late William Lake Cubbage and Geneva Florence Good Cubbage.
Douglas had worked as a machinist at Wallace Business Forms in Luray, and prior to that at the door plant in Stanley. He was a member of the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church.
On August 5, 1972, he married Mary Ann Moyer Cubbage, who died on October 10, 2016.
He is survived by a sister, Geraldine Good of Stanley; and two brothers, Aldine Cubbage and Frankie Cubbage, both of Stanley. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Cubbage and Connie Cubbage.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 16, at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, at the church by Pastor Randy Miller. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
