Dorothy "Dot" Richards

Dorothy Lois "Dot" Richards, 80, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025.

She was born on January 24, 1945, in Rockingham and was a daughter of the late Edward Wilson Lilly and Lucille Rebecca Lam Lilly.

Dot was a bus driver for Page County Public Schools, retiring with 25 years of service.

On October 11, 1968, Dot married Norris Auforth Richards Sr., who died on November 27, 2017.

She is survived by a daughter, Monica Myers of Elkton; a sister, Mary Sue Richards of Luray; and a granddaughter, Alexis Richards of Richmond. She was preceded in death by a son, Norris Auforth Richards Jr.; two sisters, Joyce Lam and Jannette Lam; and two brothers, Robert Lilly and Leroy Lilly.

Services will be private.
