Obituary

Doris Elizabeth Good, 86, of Luray, died on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021.

She was born on March 30, 1935, in Luray and was a daughter of the late James William Lang and Thelma Judd Lang.

Mrs. Good worked as an aide at Page Memorial Hospital for 25 years and was a member of the Luray Church of the Brethren.

On Sept. 19, 1979, she married Thomas “Bill” Good, who died on April 23, 1996.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas and Charles L. Dodson, both of Luray, and James R. Dodson of Stanley; two daughters, Nancy Woodward and Sarah R. Dodson, both of Luray; a sister, Kathy Williams of Luray; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte E. Dodson; and three sisters, Rebecca Bowles, Mattie Grimsley and Alice Kuser.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice in Harrisonburg.
