Denise Louise (Griffith) Butler

Denise Louise Butler, 57, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on June 6, 1963, in Luray and was a daughter of Doris Jobe Griffith of Luray and the late Cecil Ray Griffith Jr.

Surviving in addition to her mother are four daughters, Kelly Butler, Kathy Talghadar and husband Dwayne, Pamela Boyd and husband Kenneth, and Rebecca Secrist and husband Justin, all of Luray; a sister, Tammy Cash of Luray; a brother, Gregory Griffith of Luray; nine grandchildren, Lauren, Emma, Dylan, Nattalie, McKenna Camden, Adler, Ealin and Bristol; and two great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Laiken.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, at the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church by Pastor Brian Hasse. Burial will be in the Griffith Family Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church.
