Deloris Reta Turner

Deloris Reta Turner, 86, of Stanley, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. 
She was born on April 29, 1936, in Augusta County and was a daughter of the late William T. Hutchinson and Gladys R. Myers Hutchinson. 
On August 17, 1953, she married Eules William "Decker" Turner, who died on September 28, 2011. 
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Dawn Turner of Stanley; a granddaughter, Jessica Dawn Turner of Stanley; and a great-granddaughter, April Suzanne Turner of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sue Higgs; three sisters, Kitty J. Adams, Betty Diana Adamsand Barbara ChenaultFour Brothers Milton, Harold, Douglas and Dickey Hutchinson ; and twin granddaughters, April Michelle and Ashley Suzanne Higgs. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 28, at the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley by Pastor Duane Painter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Newport Church of the Brethren.
