Danny Allen Compton, age 67, passed away on Friday, December 4th, 2020, in his Rileyville home.

He was born on October 8th, 1953 in Tazewell, Virginia. He was the son of the late Junior Compton and Dollie Smith. Danny had 4 siblings: Sandra Holmes of Maryland, Patricia Compton of West Virginia, Dean Compton of Virginia, and Deloris Compton of Virginia.

Danny served in the United States Air Force Reserves prior to a 30-year career at Dominion Energy as a lineman. He was a member of IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pamela Kay Simpson. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters Arendi (Compton) Vaughan and her husband Ray Vaughan and Olivia Morgan Simpson Compton and her fiancée RJ Reynolds.

He left a legacy of 4 grandchildren: RJ, Aralynn, Anthony, and Addison Vaughan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
