Daisy Sue (Cubbage) Jones

Daisy Sue Jones, 50, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

She was born on October 15, 1975, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of the late Jarriet Edward Cubbage Sr. and Wanda Sue Lucas Cubbage.

On October 24, 2020, she married Rodney Jones, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Daisy is survived by two sons, Troy Wayne Painter of Fairfax, and Landon Good of Stanley; two brothers, Jarriet Edward Cubbage Jr. of Luray, and Curtis Cubbage of Rileyville; and her neices and nephew, Courtney Cubbage, Kyleigh Cubbage, Emma Cubbage, Curtis Cubbage Jr. and Aubree Cubbage.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, at the funeral home by Pastor Jeff Lucas. Burial will be in the Rileyville Cemetery.
