Obituary

Crystal Louise Dallas, 74, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020.

She was born on Nov. 13, 1946, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Vernon Leggett and Doris Louise Presgraves Lillard.

Mrs. Dallas had worked at Luray Textiles, a cashier at Food Lion, and part time at Holtzman Oil and was a member of the Rileyville Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Freddie Dallas, are a son, Robert Dallas of Luray; a niece Debra Lillard who she raised for many years; two brothers, Vernon “Willie” Leggett Jr. of Bentonville, and Daniel Leggett of Luray; five sisters, Linda Seal, Kathy Walters and Susan Osborne, all of Luray, Janie Selman of Rileyville, and Marsha Lillard of Stanley; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren with another due in July.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18, at the Rileyville Baptist Church by the Rev. Dan Ellis. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.

Due to COVID-19, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rileyville Baptist Church.
