Cornelia Ann (Osborne) Hoak

Cornelia Ann Hoak, 88, of Luray, died on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. 
She was born on Feb. 16, 1934, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Thomas Price Osborne and Abby Lena Comer Osborne. 
Mrs. Hoak was a graduate of Luray High School Class of 1953. She was a member of the Luray Christian Church,  Disciples of Christ. 
On Feb. 16, 1963, she married Gailon Hoak, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Jackie Lang and Louise Painter, both of Luray, Saundra Hoak of Stanley, and Rosemary Foltz of Shenandoah; a brother, Lawrence Edward Osborne of Luray; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin H. Judd; and two brothers, Thomas W. and Herbert Lee Osborne. 
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, at the Luray Christian Church.
