Clinton Everette Bowman Jr.

Clinton Everette Bowman Jr., 77, of New Market, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

He was born on August 29, 1948, in Page County and was the son of the late Clinton Bowman Sr. and Lucille Lucas Bowman.

Clinton was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Johnson Bowman; two sons, Everette and Larry Bowman; four brothers, Kenny, John, Ralph and Leonard Bowman; three sisters, Lisa Gray, Doris Wisman and Alma Markley; four grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Clayton and Cheyenne; and three great-grandchildren, Declain, Kayden and Mason.

Clinton was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammie and Allen Bowman; a sister, Betty Grim; and a grandson, Michael.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Market.
