Christopher Douglas Dovel

Christopher Douglas Dovel, 43, of Luray, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. 

He was born on December 20, 1979, in Harrisonburg and was a son of Douglas Eugene Dovel of Bridgewater and Donna Kay Hensley of Elkton.

On October 31, 2022, he married Heather Dawn Thomas Dovel, who survives.  

Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are two daughters, Amber Dovel of Shenandoah, and Jadyn Dovel of Luray; three sons, Jonathan Dovel, Seth Davis and Kyle Davis, all of Luray; a brother, Anthony Scott Dovel of Grottoes; two nephews, Collin Dovel and Tony Dovel, both of Grottoes; and his stepmother, Sharon Freeze of Elkton. 

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at the Bradley Funeral home. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
