Cheryl Arlene Campbell

Cheryl Arlene Campbell, 69, of Stanley, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

She was born on April 9, 1956, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Merle Dovel and Vallie Rothgeb Young.

Cheryl had worked as a bus driver for Page County Public Schools for 28 years.

On November 19, 1977, she married Haskell Campbell, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by a son, Spencer Stoneberger of Stanley; a daughter, Pam Campbell Foltz of Stanley; six grandchildren, Sarah Stoneberger of Luray, Spencer Wade Stoneberger of Luray, Savannah Stoneberger of Stanley, Mason Stoneberger of Shenandoah, Derek Foltz of Stanley, and Justin Foltz of Stanley; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Campbell; a daughter, Emmy Campbell Foltz; and a brother, Roger Dovel.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 22, at the Forward For Christ Baptist Church in Luray.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, at the church by Pastor Josh Parlett and Dr. Floyd Brewer. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
