Charlotte Marie (Turner) Campbell

Charlotte Marie Campbell, 69, of Shenandoah, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on July 29, 1955, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Michael Samuel Turner and Nannie Catherine Campbell Turner.

Charlotte had worked as a machine operator at Merillat.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Bruce Allen Campbell, are two daughters, Mary May, and April Corbin and husband Douglas; a son, Bruce Michael Richards; a sister, Bertha Lawrence; a special sister, Lois Alger; seven grandchildren, Jessica Richards, Danielle Haddock, Rachael May, Brooke Gruman, Madison McKenzie, Douglas Corbin III and Catherine Corbin; and 10 great-grandchildren, Connor Michael Richards, Preston Harrison Atkins, Ashlynn Annmarie Atkins, Bryce Jenkins, Adley Haddock, Willow Knight, Weston Knight, Crew Knight, Corinne Knight and Casey Gruman. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Richards.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 2, at the Newport Church of the Brethren by Pastor Duane Painter, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery in Shenandoah.
