Charles "Buddy" Leon Turner

Charles "Buddy" Leon Turner, 83, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

He was born on March 24, 1941, and was a son of the late Riley Leon Turner and Flossie Mae Good Turner.

On March 22, 1972, Buddy married Ethel Joy Lowe Turner, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Denver L. Turner of Arlington, and Charles R. Turner of Luray; a daughter, Catherine A. Travers of Harrisonburg; a sister, Dorris L. Dovel of Luray; and eight grandchildren, Keith, Ben, Dakota, Riley, Samantha, Avery, Ethan and Mary. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thurston Turner; and three sisters, Dorothy J. Bell, Sharron Lam and Betty J. Griffith.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
