Charles Ray Gallegos

Charles Ray Gallegos, 69, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas.

He was born on July 6, 1956, and was a son of the late Eulogio "Leo" Gallegos and Eva Lucero Gallegos.

His wife, Brenda Gallegos, preceded him in death.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Michelle Pence, and Melissa Whitehead and husband Athan; fours sisters, Virginia Marbut and husband Bob, Patricia Romero and husband Chris, Linda Holdridge and husband Daryl, and Caroline Gallegos; two brothers, Ralph Gallegos and Carl Gallegos; four granddaughters, Rayann Gallegos, Victoria Jenkins, Bethany Whitehead and Leah Whitehead; two grandsons, Liam Whitehead and Isaac Whitehead; one great-granddaughter, Myla Miller; two great-grandsons, Maddox See and Beaux Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be conducted from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, at the American Legion in Luray.
