Charlene Louise (Painter) Good

Charlene Louise Good, 67, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1953, in Page County and was a daughter of the late Raymond Melvin “Jack” Painter and Edna Mae Bolen Painter.

Charlene worked at Merillat for 30 years and was a member of the Battle Creek Pentecostal Church.

On June 25, 1971, she married Ernest Lee “June Bug” Good Jr., who died on Sept. 17, 2019.

She is survived by two daughters, Angela Haley and husband Rusty, and Teresa Owen and husband Chris, all of Luray; a brother, Raymond Keith Painter of Luray; nine grandchildren, Whitney Schylar Huffman and husband Lynn, Alexis Haley, Makayla Starr Good and companion Daniel Turner, Bryce Tyler Fruck and wife Taylor Fruck, Hayden Cole Fruck, Bryan Christopher Owen, Brooklyn Nichole Owen, Mariah Colbie Owen and Makenna Leann Owen; and four great-grandchildren, Bently Turner, Waylon Turner, Addie Haley and Dria Duncan. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Johnny Clements, Pastor Andy Seastrom and Evangelist Doug Gochenour. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at the funeral home.
