Carroll Eugene Moyer

Carroll Eugene Moyer, 86, of Shenandoah, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023.

He was born on May 2, 1937, in Luray and was a son of the late Raymond Moyer and Ina Pearl Judd Moyer.

Carroll worked at the Genie Company in Shenandoah for 50 years. He was a member of the Shenandoah Baptist Church.

On September 18, 1960, he married Brenda Joy Kern Moyer, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Pamela Lilly of Elkton, and Laura Rodgers of Shenandoah; a son, Tim Moyer of Shenandoah; a sister, Anna Lou Moyer of Luray; a brother, James "Jim" Moyer of Luray; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Kenneth, Glyndon, Douglas, Nelson and Robert Moyer; and five sisters, Kathleen Graves, Elsie Griffith, Betty Lawson, Shirley Long and Dorothy Purdham.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by the Rev. James Kite.
