Carolyn Ramona Nease, 86, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
She was born on January 15, 1939, in West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Elmer Pentoney and Evelyn Michael Pentoney.
Carolyn had worked as a billing clerk at Wrangler and was a member of the Harvest Pentecostal Holiness Church.
On April 2, 1960, she married Robert Paul Nease, who preceded her in death.
Carolyn is survived by four daughters, Paula Parsell and husband Toby, Ramona Gray and husband Harvey, Brenda Gray and husband Timothy, and Sheila Presgraves and husband Bernard; a brother, Michael Pentoney; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Foster and husband Jason, Amy Huffman and husband Timmy, T.J. Gray and companion Megan, Kristy Balsley and husband Toby, Brandon Presgraves, Kelly Parsell and companion Alex, and Ashley Barnes and husband Joey; 23 great-grandchildren, Jordan and companion Lydia, Kiersten, Avery, Brooke and husband Dakota, Hannah and companion Cole, Caleb, Ben and companion Kiara, Kennedy, Ryan and companion Martina, Kenna, Joslyn, Kamdyn, Kinsley, Samuel, Mackenzie, Sadie, Cason, C.J., Kloie, Nathan, Lukas, Colton and wife Allison, and Chase and wife Katie; two great-great-grandchildren, Bristol and baby-on-the-way Tessah. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Pentoney; and a great-grandson, Luke Thomas.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, at the Lighthouse Gospel Church in Stanley with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
