Carol Nadeen Hicks

Carol Nadeen Hicks, 61, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Richmond.

She was born on March 25, 1964, in Indiana and was a daughter of Zen Hiatt of Indiana.

Her husband, Kelly Eugene Henson, died on June 17, 2019.

In addition to her father, Carol is survived by three daughters, Meghan Gentry of Stanley, Jenny Dorfman of Anaheim, CA, and Dorothy Seitz of North Carolina; a son, Scott Murphy II of Lancaster, CA; 14 other children; 12 grandchildren, J.J. Chrisman, Harley Chrisman, Faith Chrisman, Aggie Chrisman, Jackson Chrisman, Deanna Chrisman, Nathan Dorfman, Tyson Murphy, Noah Seitz, Sophie Seitz, Charles Seitz Jr. and Asher Nadel. 

Carol was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Shannon Chrisman and Emery Dorfman, who are by her side in heaven.
