Bruce Allen Campbell, 74, of Shenandoah, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
He was born in Luray, Virginia, on October 15, 1951, to the late Charles "Dennis" and Meda Blanche Campbell.
Bruce graduated from Page County High School in 1970 and attended Madison College (JMU) for two years before being self-employed as a heavy equipment operator. He ended his working career at the Page County Landfill.
On March 25, 1995, he married his beloved Charlotte Marie Campbell, who passed away on November 28, 2024.
Bruce is survived by his loving family and friends.
Those left to cherish his life and memories are two daughters, Mary May, and April Corbin and husband Douglas; a son, Bruce Michael Richards; a sister, Lois Alger and husband Buddy; seven grandchildren, Jessica Richards, Danielle Haddock, Rachael May, Brooke Gruman, Madison McKenzie, Douglas Corbin III and Catherine Corbin; 10 great-grandchildren, Connor Michael Richards, Preston Harrison Atkins, Ashlynn Annmarie Atkins, Bryce Jenkins, Adley Haddock, Willow Knight, Weston Knight, Crew Knight, Corinne Knight and Casey Gruman; and a nephew, Jed Alger and wife Cassie.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, at the Newport Covenant Brethren Church by Pastor Duane Painter, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery in Shenandoah.
