Brian Todd Good

Brian Todd Good, 35, of Luray, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS.

Born on December 22, 1989, in Charlottesville, Virginia, Brian lived a life defined by laughter, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him.

A proud graduate of the Central Shenandoah Criminal Justice Training Academy in 2015, Brian began a fulfilling career as a police officer the same year. His service to the community continued until 2021, when illness forced his early retirement. Even through adversity, Brian's humor and love for life never faded. Known as a playful prankster and a loyal friend, he had an unshakable spirit, and a heart always open to helping others.

Brian found immense joy in traveling, especially during visits to Okinawa, Japan, where he spent time with his brother, Andrew. He loved exploring new cuisines, cooking for those he cared about, and cherishing moments with family and friends.

Brian is survived by his parents, Michael Todd Good, and Richard and Donna Pullen; his two adorable sons, Audyn Jay Good and Henley Clinton Lane Good; a sister, Amber Michele Burns; two brothers, Christopher Michael Greer, and Michael Tyler Good and wife Pam; maternal grandmother, Joyce C. Lang; paternal grandmother, Carolyn G. Martin; and an aunt, Deborah McSpadden.

Brian was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Tyler Good; maternal grandfather, Kelly Lang; and paternal grandfather, Thomas K. Martin.

The family extends deep, heartfelt appreciation to Brian's loyal and loving caregivers; his father, Michael Todd Good; his brother, Michael Tyler Good and his wife, Pam; and Blue Ridge Hospice.

A private graveside service will be held to honor Brian's life. His warmth, humor, and kindness will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
