Bonnie Moyer Obituary

Bonnie Mae McCoy Moyer, 78, of Clear Brook and formerly of Stanley, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Blue Ridge Inpatient Hospice in Winchester, Virginia.

She was born on May 25,1947, and was a daughter of the late Edward McCoy and Lottie Cubbage McCoy. Bonnie was preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin McCoy, Charles McCoy, Roy McCoy, and one sister, Betty Shuler.

Bonnie graduated from Page County High School in the Class of 1965.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Dellinger and husband Mike of Grottoes, and Kate Coffey and husband Joe of Littleton, CO; five grandchildren, Ariana Morris and husband A.J., Camden Dellinger and fiancée Jessica, Clara Coffey, Ben Coffey and Isaac Coffey; and one great-grandchild, Finn Bear Morris. Bonnie is also survived by her lifelong friend, Roadal Kanotus, whose friendship was one of the great blessings of her life.

Throughout her life, she held various jobs within the community, including EMCO, Amazon, and Macy’s Distribution. Bonnie never met a stranger, and she became a friend to all who knew her and worked beside her.

She was widely known for her generous spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether offering assistance, encouragement, or a listening ear, she never hesitated to serve others. Family was the center of her world, and she adored her loved ones, finding her greatest joy in time spent together.

She especially loved going on trips with her daughters and friends, cherishing the memories made through shared adventures, laughter, and togetherness. Those travels were among her most treasured moments and reflected her love for connection and experiences shared with those closest to her.

She will be remembered for her warmth and joyfulness. Her life was a testament to love, service, and quiet strength, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

In keeping with her lifelong commitment to helping others, Bonnie continued to give even after her passing by donating her body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program for medical research.

A celebration of life will be held at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Virginia, on Saturday, January 17, 2026. A friends and family gathering will begin at 10 a.m. and the service will start at 11 a.m.
