Betty Lou (Campbell) McCoy

Betty Lou McCoy, 67, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021, at Inova Fairfax in Falls Church.

She was born on June 23, 1953, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Ausbey Campbell and Mertie McCoy Campbell.

Betty worked for Bowman Apple for 30 years and was a member of the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church in Stanley.

On April 26, 1974, she married Dennis McCoy, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Paula Denise Kling and husband Chris of Luray; two brothers, Randy and Journey Campbell, both of Stanley; and a sister, Ollie Stoneberger of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Campbell; and a sister, Gladys Campbell.

A private service was conducted on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church. Burial was in the McCoy Family Cemetery in Stanley.
