Betty Frances (Newland) Dellinger

Betty Frances Newland Dellinger, 91, of New Market, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab Center in Luray.

She was born on November 19, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Mary Newland.

Mrs. Dellinger was a retired seamstress at the former Aileen Inc. of New Market. She and her husband, Nevin, and their son, Doug, also owned and operated Shenandoah Valley Crafts in New Market for many years. Later they were associated with the former Theis Funeral Chapel in New Market. She was Methodist by faith.

Betty is survived by a grandson, Andrew Dellinger; a granddaughter, Melanie Dellinger and husband Mat; a great-granddaughter, Scarlett; and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Libby) Dellinger. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nevin P. Dellinger; and her son, Douglas Dellinger.

The Rev. Stephen Creech will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Market.

Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
