Betty Lou (Good) Davis

Betty Lou Davis, 89, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center. 

She was born on November 6, 1933, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Henry F. Good and Minnie Catherine Knight Hilliard. 

Betty was a member of the Luray Pentecostal Church. 

On April 17, 1954, she married Leo Davis, who survives. 

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Ronald Davis of Luray; two daughters, Pat Davis of Stanley, and Donna Parlett of Luray; a brother, James Hilliards of Stanley; two grandchildren, Carrie Reel and Angela Schutt; and four great-grandchildren, Levi, Colton, Chase and Jacob. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Lee Davis; five brothers, Chester Hilliards, Bobby Lee Good, Harold Good, John Hilliards and Vincent Hilliards; four sisters, Bonnie Lou Wood, Margie Price, Peggy Crouch and Alma Good; and one granddaughter, Pamela Shifflett.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at the Luray Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Daniel D. Herring, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Luke Cemetery at Alma, Stanley.
