Betty Ann (Vaughn) Bailey

Betty A. Bailey, 88, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Page Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1932, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Marvin Lee Vaughn and Ruth Virginia Finter Vaughn.

Betty worked as a seamstress at Blue Bell (now Wrangler).

On Sept. 25, 1951, she married Claude William Bailey, who died on April 4, 2014.

She is survived by two sons, Michael and Dennis Bailey, both of Luray; a granddaughter, Ashley Glaettli and husband Ryan; and two great-grandsons, Jaxon and Connor Glaettli. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Ruth Payne.

A memorial service by Pastor John Thomas will be held 11:00AM June 12 at Jenkins Family Cemetery Tanners Ridge Stanley VA.
