Betty Lou (Bauserman) Andrews

Betty Lou Andrews, 89, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born on December 29, 1935, in Page County and was a daughter of the late Raymond Edgar Bauserman and Elizabeth Elaine Houser Bauserman.

Betty was a graduate of Stanley High School and earned her degree from Madison College, now James Madison University. She retired from Loudoun County Public Schools as a librarian, with 30 years of service.

On July 26, 1964, she married George Norman Andrews, who died on April 9, 1996.

She is survived by a nephew, Brian M. Foley and wife Kathy of Luray; a great niece, Sara Foley of Luray; and her caregiver, Janet Lawson of Stanley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Robbie Lee Foley.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, at the Graves Chapel Church in Stanley by the Rev Erich Bennett. Burial will be in the Graves Chapel Cemetery.
