Arthur Allen Granberg Sr.

Arthur Allen Granberg Sr., 81, of Luray, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024.

He was born on November 6, 1942, and was a son of the late Harold Oliver Granberg and Betsy Ross Bates Granberg.

Arthur owned and operated Tax Matters Associates PC in Arlington and Luray for nearly 50 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Main Street Baptist Church.

On June 5, 1965, he married Delores J. Tyree Granberg, who survives. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Chris Granberg of Clifton, and Allen Granberg Jr. of Luray; a sister, Betsy Fitzmaurice of Vancouver, WA; and four grandchildren, Bradley, Jack, Abigail and Caitlin. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Benjamin Granberg, Harold Granberg and F. Gordon Granberg; and a sister, Connie Secor.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
