Anna Bailey Obituary

Anna Elizabeth Seal Bailey, 87, of Luray, passed peacefully on November 22, 2024, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

Anna was born on August 14, 1937, and was the daughter of Wendell and Marie Riley Seal.

On October 14, 1964, Anna married Kenneth "Peedley" Bailey.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Snyder; and a brother, Jackie Seal.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne B. Williams and husband Bobby.

Anna was a life member of Fletcher's Chapel. She was a valedictorian of the Luray High School Class of 1955.

Anna worked at Wrangler in Luray for 25 years and spent many hours volunteering at Skyview Springs (formerly MontVue). She could carry on a conversation with anyone and never met a stranger.

Anna loved horses, playing board games, reading and answering most of the questions on Jeopardy. She was never happier then when she was spending time with family and friends.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 25, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Josh Parlett, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Morning Star Cemetery in Luray.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Page Paws.

Anna loved all types of animals.
