Allen Wayne Aleshire

 Allen Wayne Aleshire, 73, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center. 

He was born on Dec. 10, 1948, in Luray and was a son of Madeline Aleshire Kline of Stanley and was raised by the late Willis and Sudie Kibler. 

Allen worked in construction for Rose Roofing for 30 years and as a security guard for Page Memorial Hospital for more than 10 years. 

On March 10, 1968, he married Frances Faye Dunlap Aleshire, who survives. 

Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife are a daughter, Stephanie Aleshire of Luray; a brother, Billy Kline; two sisters, Susan and Cindy; four grandchildren, Ashley Beahm, Chad Beahm, Taylor Breeden and Daniel “Peeper” Breeden; and seven great-grandchildren, Jayce Breeden, Aubrey Porter, Kaynan Porter, Aria Beahm, Chance Beahm, Kaylee Beahm and Hunter Breeden. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll Aleshire, Harold Kline and Sherman Aleshire.  

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Andy Seastrom.  

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the funeral home.
