Virginia Elizabeth (Housden) Dovel Age 76 of Luray, VA passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 in Luray, VA. She was born on May 10, 1942, in Luray, VA.  Married to Wayne Dovel on 12/19/1959 who survives.  She is also survived by Brother-Cole Housden of Crimora, Va., Brother-Johnnie Housden of Stanley, Va., Brother-Teddy Housden of Tennessee, Sister-Deborah Owens of Stanley, Va., God Granddaughter-Ashley Lam of Harrisonburg, Va., Great Grandson-Austin Dean of Harrisonburg, Va., Lifetime Friend-Jane Hensley of Elkton, Va., Niece-Melody Owens of Stanley, Va., Niece-Josie Lemair and Husband Dean of Luray, Va. and Nephew-Michael Ferrell of Shenandoah, Va.  She was preceded in Death by:Father-Lloyd O. Housden, Mother-Neva Virginia (Sours) Housden, Daughter-Tina Rae Dovel, Brother-Garland Housden, Brother-Lawrence Housden, Sister-Gloria Short and Sister-Ethel Hilliards. Visitation will be at Shenandoah Assembly of God on Sunday, March 24, 2019  from  6:00 PM to  8:00 PM.  Service will be held at Shenandoah Assembly of God on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Carter Dean officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, in Shenandoah, VA.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Luray Rescue Squad P.O. Box 266 Luray, VA 22835.
