Susan Tester Obituary
Susan Marie Tester, 67, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
She was born on Feb. 23, 1952, in Maryland and was a daughter of the late John Edward Ruck II and Amy May Matthews Ruck.
Mrs. Tester worked as an administrator for the Prince George's County Health Department in Maryland for 24 years. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Luray.
On Dec. 17, 1977, she married Charles Edward Tester, who died on Aug. 3, 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Tester and Katherine Tester, both of Luray; and one grandchild, Willow May Silver of Luray (Katherine's daughter). She was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Robert and John “Sonny” Ruck III.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, at the Christ Episcopal Church by the Rev. Cathy Tibbetts.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 5, at Culpeper National Cemetery.
