Susan Lee Huffman

Susan Lee Huffman, 75, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Skyview Springs.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1943, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Walter Jennings Huffman Sr. and Katherine Hoak Huffman.

Ms. Huffman worked as a seamstress at Wrangler for 30 years and was a member of the Stanley United Methodist Church. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

She is survived by two brothers, Francis W. Huffman of Luray, and Bruce R. Huffman of Stanley; a sister, Shirley Huffman of Stanley; a niece, Dixie Sedwick of Luray; and a grand niece, Sarah Sedwick of Luray. She was preceded in death by a brother, Walter “Jay” Huffman Jr.

A graveside service was conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at the St. Luke Cemetery in Stanley by Pastor Anne Sisson, with military honors by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621.
