Ernest Lee “June Bug” Good Jr., 66, of Luray, died on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019.
He was born on Sept. 16, 1953, in Page County and was a son of the late Ernest Lee Good Sr. and Nola Hazel Lucas Good.
On June 25, 1971, he married Charlene Painter Good, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Angela Haley and Teresa Owen, both of Luray; five brothers, John Edward, Walter Lynn and Tommy Lee Good, all of Luray, Jerry Wayne Good of Shenandoah, and David Allen Good of Stanley; three sisters, Helen Louise Alger and Doris Jean Henry, both of Luray, and Wilma Lee Knight of Stanley; nine grandchildren; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee and Charles Lee Good; and two sisters, Vada Mae Cubbage and Mary Ann Cubbage.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Antioch Independent Bible Church by Pastor Johnny Clements and Pastor Frank Painter. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
The family was to receive friends from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
