Donald "Don" Nelson Moyer

Donald “Don” Nelson Moyer Age 81 of Luray, VA passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at INOVA Fairfax in Falls Church, VA. He was born on November 23, 1937, in Luray, VA.  Don was a graduate of Luray High School class of 1957. He worked for Wrangler in Luray for 37 years as a Mechanic.  He was a member of Beth Eden Lutheran Church where he taught Sunday School, served in many ways and was a Trustee.  He was also a Trustee of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.  He was a board member of the Luray/Page County Farmers Market where he also shared his singing talent.  He sang at many weddings and funerals and events over the years. Don is survived by Wife-Jean (Brubaker) Moyer of Luray, Va., Daughter-Darlene Moyer Johnson of Elkton, Va. and Son-William "Bill" Moyer and Wife Melissi of Shenandoah, Va.  He was preceded in Death by: Father-Nelson Raymond Moyer and Mother-Modell (Crist) Moyer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Rev. Ronald Kreiensieck will conduct a Funeral Service Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M at The Bradley Funeral Home.  Family Will receive friends on Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at The Bradley Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray, VA.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Beth Eden Memorial Fund, Luray Fire Dept. or Luray Rescue Squad.  Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, VA.
