Bobby Atkins Obituary
Bobby Wilson Atkins, 87, of Sperryville, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Skyview Springs.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1931, in Sperryville and was a son of the late Lee A. Atkins and Thelma Christina Atkins.
Mr. Atkins retired from Rappahannock High School as a custodian. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Korean War, and was a member of the Sperryville Fire Department and the VFW.
On Jan. 10, 1957, he married Julia May Atkins, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Linda Gray and husband Randolph of Luray; a brother, James Atkins of Luray; and a sister, Lee Anna Wharton of Sperryville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christina.
A graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, at the Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Va.
